إِنَّا لِلّهِ وَإِنَّـا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعونَ
It is with deep sadness that we inform you of the passing away of Marhum Mohamed Habib Virji, who passed away on Friday, January 16, 2026, in Mumbai, India and was buried there on the same day at the Khoja Kabrastan- Aaram baug Mazgaon.
Marhum was the son of Marhum Habib Musa Virji and Marhuma Nazmakhatun Musa Virji.
Marhum was the husband of Sr Shabnam Virji.
Marhum was the father of Br Salim Virji and the father-in-law of Sr Anjum Virji of Mumbai.
Marhum was the brother of Farida Sachedina, Iqbal Virjee, Marhuma Parviz Rahim, Marhum Liyakat Virji, and Nargis Virji, of Toronto.
May Almighty Allah (swt) rest the Marhum’s departed soul in eternal peace in Jannah and give the family the fortitude to bear this monumental loss – Ameen.
Surah Al-Fatiha is requested for Marhum Mohamed Habib Virji and all other Marhumeen.
